Quando gli appassionati dei Simpson ammettono che il cartone animato sia uno degli show scritti meglio per il piccolo schermo, si riferiscono anche alle canzoni che arricchiscono ogni episodio oltre che ai dialoghi. Questo CD è un buon punto di partenza ai suoni di Springfield che i sostenitori dei Simpson (specie quelli che conoscono bene l'inglese) troveranno irresistibile. Tra gli artisti musicali che hanno partecipato ai Simpson ci sono i Sonic Youth e Tony Bennett, i cui contributi originali si trovano in Go Simpsonic. Ma chi ha bisogno dei VIP, con un cast che include gli inimitabili Krusty il Klown ("Like Father, Like Clown"), Waylon Smithers ("Happy Birthday, Mr. Burns") e Patty e Selma Bouvier ("We Love to Smoke") ? Da ascoltare anche "Everyone Loves Ned Flanders," il pezzo di Kirk Van Houten "Can I Borrow a Feeling?" e la parodia dei Brothers Four (!?) "The Ballad of Jebediah Springfield" .
